"How to Survive a Plague" Film Screening

July 23, 2012

Directed by David France, "How to Survive a Plague" is the true story of how HIV/AIDS activists, researchers and the government advanced from conflict to collaboration, transforming AIDS from a death sentence into a manageable condition. Culled from a trove of archival footage, this award-winning film is both epic and intimate, following a small group of people–most of them HIV-positive–over the course of a nine-year battle to save their own lives.

Please join the Ford Foundation for a screening, followed by a discussion with director David France and others.
